【Abstract】 Xia Suntong is the maximal contributor in compiling The History Draft of Qing Dynasty.But till now,when studying the compilers of The History Draft of Qing Dynasty,the academic circles mainly concentrate on Zhao Erxun,Ke Shaomin and Miao Quansun,while Xia Suntong’s contribution has been neglected.Xia Suntong’s contribution is mainly shown in the following two aspects: first,he compiled Ministers’ Biographies,who lived in the time of Emperor Jiaqing,Daoguang,Xianfeng and Tongzhi,and Biographies of the Honest and Upright Officials and Biographies of Artists;second,he designed the biography compiling principles for these biographies.更多还原
