运动员视角下西安马拉松奖牌设计与城市形象表达

【摘要】 近年来,马拉松运动已经成为展示城市风采,提升城市形象的重要载体。城市马拉松赛事的奖牌设计蕴含着丰富的文化内涵,且具有一定的象征意义,是赛事的重要载体。从不同视角探讨和分析马拉松奖牌的设计理念,对赛事的成功举办和举办地的经济、社会文化展示具有一定的现实意义。本文通过查阅文献资料、案例分析、问卷调查、访谈等方式,从参赛运动员视角对西安马拉松赛事奖牌设计进行研究。主要研究内容按章节顺序如下:(1)总结归纳了论文的选题背景、研究对象和创新点,并对研究主体和应用方法等进行论述,研究结果表明马拉松赛事奖牌设计对赛事具有重要的意义。(2)针对西安城市形象定位及西安马拉松赛事基本情况的研究,可以得出,西安城市形象纷繁复杂,通过赛事能够更好的进行城市形象表达。(3)基于当前国内外行业现状,以及五届西安马拉松赛事奖牌设计研究,能够得出,西安马拉松赛事有效促进了西安城市形象的对外表达。(4)基于参赛运动员视角,利用问卷调查数据,以及访谈得出的结论表明,西安马拉松赛事奖牌基本得到了广大参赛运动员的认可,但在设计方面还存在一定不足,主要表现为设计创新理念欠缺,城市现代发展成果展示不足;设计元素提取稍弱,城市形象展示相对单调;设计形象简单重复,城市吸引力仍有不足。(5)通过归纳和梳理西安马拉松赛事奖牌设计方面存在的不足,创新性提出了改进意见,建议从设计理念上创新奖牌设计思路,更加精准表达城市形象;从视觉形象上,与时俱进形成视觉冲击,更加精准的抓住参赛运动员眼球;在品牌定位上,奖牌设计要精准表达赛事定位,更加全面展示城市品牌。通过以上方案进一步优化赛事奖牌设计,为西安乃至全国城市马拉松赛事在城市形象展示方面起到积极的引导作用。

【Abstract】 Marathon has recently become an important vehicle to showcase the city’s style and enhance its image.The design of medals for urban marathons includes rich cultural implications and certain symbolic significance,which makes it an important carrier of the marathon.The paper explores and analyzes the concept in the design of marathon medals from different perspectives,thus having certain practical significance for the event’s success as well as display of the economy,society and culture of the holding city.This paper studies the medal design of the Xi’an Marathon from the perspective of participating athletes through literature review,case analysis,questionnaire survey,and interviews.The main research content is as follows in the order of chapters: First,the paper summarizes the topic background,research objects and innovation points of the paper,and discusses the research subject and application methods.The research results show that the design of marathon medals plays a very important role in the event.Second,it can be concluded that the image of Xi’an is complex and diverse,which can be better expressed through the holding of Marathon,according to the research on the positioning of Xi’an image and the basic situation of Xi’an Marathon.Third,given the current industrial status at home and abroad,as well as the research on the medal design of the five Marathon events in Xi’an,it can be said that it is the Marathon events in Xi’an that have effectively promoted going global of Xi’an’s image.Fourth,based on the angle of participating athletes and with the use of the data of questionnaire survey and conclusions drawn from interviews,it is shown that the medals of Xi’an Marathon have been appraised by a large number of participating athletes,but some inadequacy still exists in the design,which mainly includes the lack of innovative design concepts,insufficient display of the achievements in the city’s modern development,the slightly weak extraction of design elements,the relatively monotonous display of the city’s imageh,the simple and repetitive design image,and the still insufficient attractiveness of this city.Fifth,the paper proposes innovative suggestions for improvement by summarizing and sorting out the inadequacy in the design of the medal for the Xi’an Marathon.It suggests innovating the concept in the design of the medal based on the design philosophy to more accurately express the image of the city.In addition,the paper suggests that the outlook of the medal should keep up with the times,thus forming a visual impact so as to more accurately capture the attention of participating athletes.With regard to the brand positioning,the medal design should accurately express the event’s positioning,thus more comprehensively displaying the city’s image.Through the above plan,further optimization in the design of the event medal will play a positive guiding role in displaying the image of Xi’an and even that of other cities across China via the holding of marathons.
